Modelflight is an RC Hobby Shop for all things RC Hobbies and Models. Father and Son duo Leo and Mike O'Reilly established Modelflight in 1975. Over the last 37 years, the business has grown significantly. We now have over 25 staff members in two locations - our Online RC Store and Customer Service Centre at Lonsdale, and, our Hobby Shop in Goodwood.
The family ethos remains prevalent in the business today, with Managing Director Mike still leading the business and Janine, Brianna and Jamie working for the company too. Mike is a strong advocate of this hobby and the local industry; and, along with much of the Modelflight team, he has been an active member of clubs and associations for many years.
As well as selling some of the world's leading hobby brands throughout Australia, Mike and the Modelflight staff actively promote the hobby through events, sponsorship, and community involvement. Modelflight are passionate about RC Hobbies and about the quality Radio Control Models and Products that we sell.
We pride ourselves in selling top quality Remote Control Products and supporting those RC models with parts, accessories, and a high level of after-sales service. Our most popular brands include: E-flite Electric RC Planes; Parkzone Park Flyers; Hangar 9 Model Planes; Beginner RC Planes from HobbyZone; RC Helicopters from Blade Heli, JR Heli and Thunder Tiger; and Radio Control Equipment from industry-leaders in RC, Spektrum and JR.
We also sell RC Cars and RC Trucks from Losi, Team Losi Racing, Thunder Tiger, ECX, HPI, Traxxas and many more; and we sell Engines and Power Systems from Thunder Power, DLE Engines, Dualsky, Kontronik, and Dynamite to name a few.
